Networx® USB 5Gbps (USB 3.1) Type C cables are double-shielded with a dual foil and braid. The connector is surrounded by a metal shield and the cable braid is also soldered to the connector to create an end-to-end full shielding solution guaranteeing a noise-free connection. USB 5Gbps (USB 3.1) Type C is 3rd revision of the ubiquitous USB (Universal Serial Bus) Standard. Clocking in at speeds up to 5Gbit/s, USB 5Gbps (USB 3.1) Type C is a vast improvement over the USB 2.0 speed of 480 Mbit/s while being completely backwards compatible with USB 2.0.

A Type A Gen 2 Cable that really works.

I am using these Cables on several Desktops because the Ports are on the back and this Cable is needed to extend a Port to a Area in the front of the PC so I can use it. I have tried other brands of Cables in the past that claimed to be Gen 2 and they all failed to work. This Cable really works 100% of the Time.

Happy that everything is working so far. Lifetime guarantee. I use these for charging with old my older gen USB chargers (taking out the old cable, and putting this in). Fast charging so far. The car charger is slow, but so was the old phone. The wall charger is just as fast as the one provided with my nexus 6p. Haven't used for data yet.
